Families tell a tale for Tarbiyah story marathon

Families around the world are recording themselves reading out a story for a new fun initiative called Tell a Tale of Tarbiyah.

The story marathon has been dreamed up by MCE (Madrasah Centre of Excellence) to entertain and inform children during coronavirus lockdown.

Parents and children pick one of MCE’s stories online and read it out, making an mp3 audio recording.

They email their recording to MCE and the best will be converted into a video, with others uploaded on the MCE website.

For one and all

Tell a Tale of Tarbiyah is a story marathon for one and all.

“This is a collaborative effort while everyone is home to get families involved and excited about Tarbiyah. We want as many families to participate as possible,” organisers said.

“The idea is to get families reading together, so we’re calling out to all families to join us in this exciting venture and contribute to the Tarbiyah project.”

How to take part

Deadline is 30 April, so why not choose your story and start practising today?

First pick your Band A or B story at https://madrasahonline.org/lessons/

Record an mp3 audio of you and your family reading it out, and email the recording using www.wetransfer.com to this email address: mceresources@world-federation.org

Keeping Tarbiyah available

As global efforts continue to combat the virus that has gripped the world, the MCE continues to make online learning accessible and available for all the madaris while they are closed.
