Five million meals have been distributed to vulnerable families as WF-Aid’s annual Ramadan Relief programme once again helped to ease suffering during Shahr Ramadan.
An astonishing 125,159 people across 16 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East received assistance thanks to generous donations from members of the Khoja community worldwide.
WF-AID teams and partners distributed 19,705 nutritious food packs, delivered community iftaars and funded 50 support kits for Kenyan farmers. They were even able to arrange Eid gifts to orphan children and widows in Syria.
