Dr Asgar Moledina, past President of WF, has visited the Phoenix Jamaat of NASIMCO and the Islamic Education Foundation of Arizona.

The goal of the Foundation is to preserve the true identity of the Shia Ithna-Asheri School of Islamic thought for the community of Arizona. It is developing a place where the community can learn and practice the teachings of the AhlulBayt, serving as a resource for all to enhance and protect Khoja beliefs, as well as improving life skills and wellbeing by organising programmes to benefit the wider community. All are welcome, regardless of ethnicity, to learn and develop their knowledge of Islam, bridging the gap between communities and instilling understanding of Islamic values with sincerity, humility, honesty and integrity.

Dr Moledina said that, in addition to a thriving Islamic community spirit: “Pheonix offers great opportunities with very reasonable housing, education and healthcare costs.”
