A California-based US resident, Zoheb Noorani, has been elected as a Partner at the O’Melveny & Myers LLP (OMM) Law Firm in Los Angeles.
Who is Zoheb Noorani?
Zoheb Noorani, a US resident born to an Indian Khoja family, earned his law degree from the University of Southern California, Order of the Coif. He has been a member of the OMM community since he started there as a summer associate.
At OMM, Zoheb has been involved in the firm’s most challenging insurance matters. He has defended insurance companies in all stages of coverage actions—from pre-litigation counselling to appeals. Along with the day-to-day management of cases, he has been the principal drafter of several case-winning summary judgment motions. In addition to his insurance coverage work, Zoheb maintains an active pro bono practice focused on helping clients with immigration and asylum matters. He also has experience defending pharmaceutical companies in product liability cases.

Zoheb is recognised as a “rising star” by The Legal 500 US for Insurance: Advice to Insurers (2020-2023). The Legal 500 is a reputable legal directory that assesses and ranks law firms and individual lawyers based on their expertise and capabilities across various practice areas. In 2018-19, he was named the “Next Generation Lawyer” in the Legal 500 US list in the Insurance: Advice to Insurers category.
