Alhamdulillah, the project, namely Amira Apartments on Mfaume Road in Upanga, Dar es Salaam started in August 2018 is progressing at a good pace and in line with the schedule agreed upon with the main contractor, Mohammedi Builders Limited.
On the work side, the external plaster is 90% completed and internal plaster is progressing well. Other works such as aluminium, electrical, plumbing and mechanical is also progressing as per the schedule of works.
The two elevators have been installed and currently undergoing normal performance checks by the supplying company, Wintech Elevators Company Ltd.
Discussion on the Multipurpose Hall to further enhance the facilities was done and important decisions were taken to ensure timely completion of the project. This will be carried out simultaneously with the ongoing works to complete the project on schedule.
Community members will be pleased to learn that as per our initial plan for this building, we are now ready to release a few apartments for second time buyers on outright purchase scheme on the top floor of the building; this offer is for members from other Jamaats in Africa who wish to own a property in Dar-es-Salaam, this will be on the first come first basis.
The project consists of car park facility in the basement, ground and first floor, and 40 apartments out of which 20 are 4 bedroomed and 20 are 3 bedroomed with a Multipurpose Hall on the terrace, two large elevators, standby generators, water reservoirs etc.
