The Khoja community in Orlando, Florida, has found a tasty way to express its thanks to frontline health workers.
On Nurse’s Day (6 May), Masjid Al Hayy donated iftar/dinner meals and cookies to the staff at AdventHealth ER in Lake Mary.

“This was a way to show our gratitude and support to the healthcare workers for their commitment to ensure the health and safety of our community,” the Outreach Team said.
They added: “A special thanks to our donors and Donna for baking the cookies!”
Saying thank you with pizza
It is not the first time that Khoja volunteers in Orlando have thanked those in the frontline of the battle against coronavirus.
