The Salaam Cup will take place on 22 June and promises to be better than ever. It is the 4th edition of the SJFA’s award-winning football tournament, organised by Stanmore Jafferys in London. This year the event is even bigger:

• 104 teams are registered to play, of which 80 are external teams
• 23 clubs are participating nationally from various communities
• There are 24 SJFA teams, with 190 boys
• 850 players
• 2,500 visitors are expected.

Faith, community and respect
The SJFA DNA of faith, community and respect will be the foundation of how the Salaam Cup is run. Diversity and engagement with Stanmore Jafferys’ neighbours is important and the numbers above reflect this. There is no better way to showcase the SJFA and the community’s DNA than by hosting this popular competition.

SJFA would like to thank its “Salaamteer” volunteers for giving up their valuable time, energy and smiles to help visitors on the day. They are a wonderful group who have provided SJFA with invaluable support over the years. They epitomise the definition of volunteering and what makes the Khoja community a success.

Organisers say there will be exciting free entertainment and “amazing delicacies and desserts” on offer throughout the day
