African Khoja and billionaire business tycoon Mr Hassanein Hiridjee has been awarded as the “CEO of the Year” by the African CEO Forum Awards.
Mr Hassanein Hirdjee is a well-known African billionaire and CEO of the Axian Group, a conglomerate based in Madagascar.

The “CEO of the Year” award is bestowed to the winner by a cross-disciplinary panel of 5 jurists. The award recognises an African CEO for their exceptional achievements throughout the previous year, in this case, throughout 2021. The criterion for the nominee is to stand out among their peers due to their extraordinary leadership in growing their company’s activities and through a significant accomplishment.
The Awards Ceremony took place during the AFRICA CEO Forum Annual Summit gala dinner on 13 June 2022, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), where Mr Hassanein Hiridjee was awarded the title of “CEO of the Year” for his exceptional achievements as the CEO of Axian Group.
