This week marks one year since beloved teacher Sajida Jivraj passed away in Dar-es-Salaam.
Her family are inviting all who wish to join them on Saturday May 30 at 7pm (East Africa Time) for a majlis in her memory that includes a lecture by Dr Sayed Ammar Nakshawani.

Touching children’s hearts
Sajida was a young soul who touched children’s hearts.
Read here how throughout her life she dedicated herself to madrasa teaching, from Peterborough to Orlando and Toronto, and from Dubai to Dar es Salaam. She always ensured that along with the curriculum she instilled Islamic morals and principles within her students.
She is desperately missed by her family and her four small children.
